Common questions
Is AcePaste really free?
Yes. The web app cleans text with the full pipeline — invisible-character removal, markdown, HTML, formatting, case transforms, find and replace — with no character limit, no account, and no feature gates. The Chrome extension is free too.
Is there a catch? Will you add paid consumer tiers later?
No catch. The web cleaner and the browser extension are free and are intended to stay free. Cleaning text is a commodity; we don't charge consumers for it.
Do I need an account to use AcePaste?
No. Cleaning never requires an account. An optional sign-in exists only to sync settings to the browser extension.
Does my data leave my browser?
No. All cleaning runs locally in your browser. Text you paste is never sent to any server, stored, or logged.
Is there anything you do charge for?
We're developing a product for developers and teams — an API and SDK for sanitizing untrusted text at ingestion into LLM, RAG, and content pipelines, plus team and enterprise options. It isn't generally available yet. If that's a need for your team, email enterprise@acepaste.xyz.
I previously bought a paid plan. What happens to it?
Every past purchase is honored. Sign in at your account page to view or manage it. Since the full toolset is now free for everyone, there's nothing more to buy.
